Our Apple Juice story
The traditional orchards of the Wyre Forest are havens for wildlife, and it is here that the story of our apple juice begins. Throughout the year we work, along with our volunteers, to manage and preserve these important sites. An orchards mosaic of habitats is home to many different species from birds and bats to mammals, reptiles, insects and fungi. The work we do ensures the standing decaying wood of the beautiful aging veteran trees, upon which so many species depend, is maintained and the new trees we plant help prolong the life of the orchard.
During the autumn months our volunteers carefully handpick the wonderful local varieties of apples that grow ready to be pressed into delicious juice. Relax and enjoy our juice with the knowledge that the traditional orchards of the Wyre Forest are being conserved.
